(New) Book Love

I am sad to say that we are taking a indefinite break from our Panera Milk and Cookies storytime 🙁 To celebrate our last day (Feb. 17) and our happy run there, I shared some of my favorite new picture books (published within the last couple of years). 1. About how long do your storytime’s run? I’m new to planning storytimes for my library and I’m still trying to figure out how many stories, songs, fingerplays, flannels, etc. I need to prepare for each. I do 20 minute Toddler Times and 30 minute Preschool Storytimes. Love your blog!

    1. Yes, my toddler storytimes tend to run 20-25 minutes… and the preschool ones closer to 30 minutes 🙂 Sometimes, if I have a antsy group, I’ll cut it a little shorter. You are going to have so much fun with storytime! ENJOY! 🙂
