I enjoy wearing my silly hat at storytime. Do you have your silly hats ready for Halloween??? Have a fun and safe Halloween, everyone!

Hats Off To You! Preschool Storytime with Jennifer: March 6, 2007

OPENING:
Intro Song: “Boom Boom Ain’t It Great To Be Crazy” (Raffi)
Puppet Act: Hide monkey puppet underneath hat (with tail sticking out). Have children guess who or what is hiding, and then surprise them.

If you’re wearing clothes today, stand up and shout Hooray! HOORAY! Today, we had a fun storytime about clothes.

FYI: We’re nearing the end of our fall storytime session. Just two more weeks to go…and then we will break for the holidays (until January). Also: we will be closed next Wednesday for Veteran’s Day, so no storytime at BV next week. Regulars are invited to attend my Friday session over at Central next week (10 or 11) or go to Donna’s storytime on Thursday at BV (10 or 11).

Today we read stories about getting dressed. Because we were all such great listeners at storytime… Santa Claus came to visit us at the library!!! HO HO HO! (Be on the look out for some photos to be posted on my Flickr account.) Happy Holidays, everyone! We are going to have a two week break; see you next year (January 9th)!!!
