Also make red, blue, green, orange, yellow, purple, black, white and brown feather pieces to add to the turkey as the rhyme progresses.)<br \/>\nMr. Turkey was so sad,<br \/>\nHe lost the feathers he once had.<br \/>\nNow he wants us to help him find<br \/>\nAll the feathers of his kind.<br \/>\nWe will look both high and low,<br \/>\nWe will find them, don\u2019t you know.<br \/>\nHere\u2019s a RED one and a BLUE,<br \/>\nLook, we\u2019ve found a GREEN one, too.<br \/>\nHere\u2019s an ORANGE one and a YELLOW,<br \/>\nSoon he\u2019ll be a feathered fellow.<br \/>\nNow we\u2019ve found the PURPLE one,<br \/>\nBLACK and WHITE, we\u2019re almost done.<br \/>\nIf we just look up and down.<br \/>\nI know we\u2019ll find the feather BROWN.<br \/>\nNow Mr. Turkey is so glad,<br \/>\nFor we have found the feathers he once had!<\/p>\n<p>***<em>Five Hungry Pilgrims<\/em> (Source unknown)<br \/>\nFive hungry pilgrims were in a grumpy mood.<br \/>\nThe first one said, &#8220;I&#8217;m ready for some food!&#8221;<br \/>\nThe second one said, &#8220;Some turkey would be nice.&#8221;<br \/>\nThe third one said, &#8220;Or a pumpkin pie slice.&#8221;<br \/>\nThe fourth one said, &#8220;Mashed potatoes, please.&#8221;<br \/>\nThe fifth one said, &#8220;And some nice green peas!&#8221;<br \/>\nWith a chew and a gulp and a munch, munch, munch,<br \/>\nThe five little pilgrims were a happy bunch.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gobble, gobble&#8230; it&#8217;s nearly Turkey Time!
