Storytime has begun!!! Baa, Baa Black Sheep

Today, we started Toddler Tales at the Central Library. Every week, we will will experience new nursery rhymes, stories, songs and fingerplays. We will always start storytime with the rhymes The More We Get Together and end storytime with We Wave Goodbye Like This. (Young children find routines comforting.) We also end our day by gathering together to color special nursery rhyme sheets and to chat. Some weeks (about once a month or so), we do a special craft.

This blog is a great way to remember what happened at storytime and to track down stories and activities that were especially enjoyed by your children. I also hope to suggest additional related books and activities as well as share some early literacy tips in the future (once this blog gets rolling). Thanks for stopping by!
